[Mauro Casadio – Rete dei Comunisti] The qualitative leap highlighted by the war in Ukraine is the direct product of an accumulation of unresolved contradictions in international power relations that have dragged on since at least the 2008 financial crisis. The process has been complex and in some ways ‘karst’, but today it is bursting into the light of day with unexpected force, just as the rapid timing of the military precipitation was also unexpected.
[Rete dei Comunisti] Vogliamo salutare i più di 400 delegati provenienti da oltre 100 Paesi giunti in Italia per il 18° Congresso della FSM/WFTU che si terrà dal 6 all’8 maggio, e tutti quelli che lo seguono da remoto. É un onore avervi nel nostro Paese, dopo più di 70 anni dall’ultimo Congresso che si svolse in Italia quando ancora erano ben visibili le macerie provocate dal Secondo Conflitto Mondiale e tante vite di giovani, operai e donne erano state sacrificate per liberarci dal nazi-fascismo.
[Rete dei Comunisti] As Rete dei Comunisti we would like to greet the more than 400 delegates from over 100 countries who have come to Italy for the 18th Congress of the FSM/WFTU to be held May 6-8, and all those who are following it remotely. It is an honour to have you in our country, after more than 70 years since the last Congress that took place in Italy, when the rubble caused by the Second World War was still visible and many lives of young people, workers and women had been sacrificed to free us from Nazi-fascism.
[Rete dei Comunisti] En tant que Rete dei Comunisti (Italie), nous souhaitons saluer les plus de 400 délégués de plus de 100 pays qui sont venus en Italie pour le 18ème Congrès de la FSM qui se tiendra du 6 au 8 mai, et tous ceux qui le suivent de loin. C’est un honneur de vous recevoir dans notre pays, plus de 70 ans après le dernier congrès qui s’est tenu en Italie, alors que les décombres de la Seconde Guerre mondiale étaient encore visibles et que tant de vies de jeunes, de travailleurs et de femmes avaient été sacrifiées pour nous libérer du nazi-fascisme.
[Rete dei Comunisti] Como Rete dei Comunisti queremos saludar a los más de 400 delegados de más de 100 países que han venido a Italia para el 18º Congreso del FSM/WFTU, que se celebrará del 6 al 8 de mayo, y a todos los que lo siguen desde lejos. Es un honor teneros en nuestro país, después de más de 70 años desde que se celebró el último Congreso en Italia, cuando aún eran visibles los escombros de la Segunda Guerra Mundial y se habían sacrificado tantas vidas de jóvenes, trabajadores y mujeres para liberarnos del nazifascismo.
